How to use it
- Number each change order and attach it to the original contract.
- Write the change so someone who wasn't there can tell what was agreed.
- Put the price change in dollars and cents, with a plus or minus, and work out the new contract total.
- Both sides sign and date it before the extra work starts. Give the customer a copy.
- Some states have their own rules for change orders. Check with your state licensing board.
Jobchit, when it opens, does this on your phone: you write the change, the customer signs with a finger, and you both get a dated PDF. Join the waitlist.
